Catena (co-)develops devices for the automotive and portable market. Our solutions enable set-makers to achieve higher performance on (car) radio reception. Effective co-operation, cross-departmental communication and a fast-moving iterative process allow our teams to build competitive products.

To strengthen our team Catena Radio Design is looking for a self propelled Senior Software Architect with more than 7 years experience in embedded software. A Ph.D. or University M.Sc. degree relevant to this job (e.g. Masters in Computer Science) is preferred.

The Senior Software Architect will be responsible for driving the architecture initiatives for the software activities across our projects. The Senior Software Architect will work together with project teams to determine feasibility of solutions.

The candidate shall have:

Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and fundamental design principles.
Experience in designing embedded software systems.
Strong ability to quickly grasp technical issues and the ability to lead team members to a solution.
Strong communication skills both at individual as well as team level.

Added plus:

Affinity with hardware and radio technology.
Knowledge of and experience with the CMMI model.
